The Tuc'Me Inn B&B takes great pride in serving you food that appeals to more than just your taste buds. We are able to accommodate special diets of any kind (diabetes, vegetarian/vegan, lactose-intolerant, celiac, food allergies, etc.) Wes is a culinary school graduate and is the resident chef. Having worked at a large capacity resort and conference center in the Northern Virginia area, he is able to meet all dietary challenges - in fact he loves them!
Breakfast is served with freshly ground, locally raosted Black Bear Coffee, a variety of Twinings® and Rishi® teas, and a selection of juices.
Examples of the items on our menu include:
Southwest Omlet: A sauted onion and cheese omelet nestled in freshly made salsa and guacamole .
Reuben Omlet: A sauted swiss cheese omelet stuffed with diced corned beef and onion straws that have been sauted in lemon juice; drizzled lightly with 1000 Island Dressing.
French Toasted Applesauce Tortillas: Fresh, hand made tortillas flavored with applesauce and cinnamon are dipped in egg and cooked, then stuffed with Edam cheese and topped with baked apples.
Cranberry Pancakes: Dried cranberries soaked overnight in an orange liqueur and sprinkled over the whole wheat pancakes as they cook.
Rum Raisin French Toast: Freshly made French baguettes are dipped in egg and cooked, then drizzled with 100% maple syrup and rum soaked raisins.
Orange Glazed Waffles: Belgian waffles topped with fresh orange slices and our own orange and spice syrup.
Gluten-free pancakes:A delicious mix of rice, potato, popcorn and soy flours blended together to make a light and tasty stack of pancakes. Served with 100% real maple syrup.
Eggs and Bacon: Your eggs are made to order, from poached to omelettes. They are served with smoked Canadian Bacon and a choice of our homemade hearty wheat bread or an English Muffin.
